Michael Shapiro

Michael Shapiro is the Chief Investment Officer of Phaze 3 Associates, where he oversees the firm’s investment strategy and success.

Before joining Phaze 3, Michael was the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Weston Premium Woods Inc., where he led the company’s strategic growth and operational expansion. Under his leadership, the company significantly increased its market presence in the U.S. and Canada, culminating in its successful sale to Richelieu Hardware in 2017.

Michael graduated from Western University in 2004 and is the youngest individual ever appointed to the National Hardwood Lumber Association’s Board of Directors. He has served on multiple boards of directors, limited partnership advisory committees, and as a strategic advisor to a multinational venture capital firm with over $350M in assets under management.
